The Ridge Golf Course Superintendents Association is an organization designed to promote the careers and professionalism of its members, who maintain golf courses in the Ridge region of Central Florida. 

It is an affiliated organization of the Florida Golf Course Superintendents Association and the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America. 

We currently have 36 members in four counties, including Polk, Highlands, Lake, and Hillsborough counties.  As a small organization, we strive to help our local communities, and yearly contribute over $2000 to local charities and causes, such as the Boys and Girls Club of Lakeland and Local American Cancer Society office.  We also contribute money to state and national research efforts, and have a scholarship available to be awarded to a local student currently enrolled in Golf Course Management classes. 

We have since our inception re-wrote the rules of Golf Course Management, infamously known as the “Ridge Rules!”
